Our changeover day is Friday. Most of Cornwall changes over on Saturday & Sunday. What this means is you can enjoy places like the Eden Project on a Saturday without such huge summer crowds!
The closest beaches are Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay, about 5 minute drives, the stunning Bedruthen Steps beach is about 10 minutes and so many other beautiful beaches and coves are nearby too. Both Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay have a selection of surf board hire and surf schools.
Lanvean Farmhouse is close to many Cornish attractions, like The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan. There is great cycling for kids and adults to be had at Cardinham Woods and Lanhydrock House (nr Bodmin). Also well worth a mention are Scott & Babs @ Retorrick Mill (just off the road to Mawgan Porth) who serve the most wonderful woodfired food.
You’ll need to provide bed linen and towels. We can arrange to hire linen & bath towels, but it will be an added cost.
